The official Clemson Tiger Paw was introduced and approved in 1970. The paw print started as a plaster cast made of a tiger's paw at the Museum of Natural History in Chicago. The indention or "hook" at the bottom results from a scar on that tiger's paw.
The paw is always at 30-degree to designate a 1:00 kickoff time for football games, which was typical in college football at that time.
This vinyl decal applies to a smooth outside surface.
